PATRICIA DRIVE PUMPING STATION ELIMINATION PROJECT
PATRICIA DRIVE & LINCOLN AVENUE ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE
The Township Contractor, RGC Development, Inc., is moving ahead with the last phase of the elimination of the Pumping Station at the intersection of Lincoln and Patricia Drive. Starting February 2, 2012, RGC plans to close Lincoln Avenue to through traffic. The road closure is setup for a daytime closure only. Attached is the traffic control plan and signage they plan on using. RGC was instructed to notify all emergency systems as well as school bus lines in South Whitehall Township and Salisbury Township prior to closing the road. The work will last for approximately one month.

Salisbury Township Comprehensive Plan (Draft) is available for review. The Comprehensive Plan sets overall policies for preservation and development over the next 10 to 15 years. The Comprehensive Plan addresses Natural Features Conservation, Land Uses, Housing, Transportation, Community Facilities and Services, Community Development, and Ways to Put the Plan into Action. The Plan may be reviewed at the Township Building M-F, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Copies of all or portions of the Plan will be made available at cost. To purchase a complete paper copy of the Plan or to request special accommodations due to disability, please contact Cynthia Sopka at 610-797-4000 in advance. Representative Simmons Satellite Office 2012 Schedule Change
A satellite office of State Representative Justin J. 2012 Philadelphia International Flower Show
Salisbury Township is running a bus trip to the 2012 Philadelphia International Flower Show on Sunday, March 4, 2012. The cost is $55 (non-refundable) - cash, check or money order payable to Salisbury Township. Registration is at the Salisbury Township Municipal Building. SALISBURY RESIDENTS & BUSINESSES NEEDING ASSISTANCE FOR DAMAGES CAUSED BY HURRICANE IRENE
Salisbury Township has been informed that a Major Disaster Declaration for Hurricane Irene was issued. This declaration is for Individual Assistance (Assistance to individuals and households) including businesses. Anyone with damages wishing to make a claim for assistance must do so by one of the four methods below:
WALKING PURCHASE PARK - MOUNTAIN BIKE REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
Pursuant to Ordinance No. 12-2010-564, registration is required prior to utilizing the mountain bike trails at Walking Purchase Park.
