Free Film Series-“if you don’t, I will”-Facing a marriage that has become stale, a woman leaves her husband during a hike and chooses to make a new life in the woods while he returns home. French with English subtitles. This monthly film series at the library features award-winning foreign films, independent movies, and documentaries. No ticket is required; admission is always free. For viewing audiences ages 17 and up.

The Allentown Public Library presents a free program open to all ages on the History of Hess’s Department Store by Joshua Fink from the Lehigh County Historical Society.

Music from West Africa and beyond with Sean Gaskell.
Sean Gaskell features traditional songs on the Kora, a 21 string harp that he learned how to play throughout the course of multiple visits to its homeland in Gambia, West Africa. Gaskell has studied extensively under the instruction of Malamini Jobarteh and Moriba Kuyateh, both of Brikama, Gambia. He has been featured at a number of music festivals in the US, Gambia, and Senegal.
