SALISBURY TOWNSHIP SPECIAL CURBSIDE BRANCH COLLECTION AND EXTENDED DROP OFF CENTER HOURS DUE TO THE RECENT SNOW STORM EVENT The snow storm event that occurred on Saturday, October 29, 2011 brought down a large number of branches throughout Salisbury Township. To facilitate the cleanup efforts, the Salisbury Township Department of Public Works will be conducting a special curbside branch collection program starting on Monday, November 7, 2011. The Township crews will be making only one pass through the Township which will be conducted from 7 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Residents are asked to place their branches along the edge of the road by Sunday, November 6, 2011. Branches should be bundled and tied with twine. An open container may be used for small twigs, but must be open. No lids please. Please note that due to the large number of trees in the Township, a pick up date and time for any street in the Township cannot be set. There will be no return trips made to pick up branches after the crews have passed. As an alternative to the branch collection, Township’s drop off centers will have extended hours and additional days scheduled for the month of November only. Starting November 5th, the drop off centers will be open on alternating Saturdays from 8 AM – 4 PM and alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 AM – 2 PM.
