ZONING HEARING BOARD
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2022 at 7:00PM
The Salisbury Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 7:00 PM in the Township Municipal Building located at 2900 South Pike Ave, Allentown, PA 18103. The meeting will be held to hear the following cases:
APPEAL NO. 22-0204 – 1415 SEIDERSVILLE ROAD
David and Manuela Weiss request use variance from §27-306.2 to operate a dog kennel at their residence within the R2, Low Density Residential zoning district (use not permitted). Additionally, applicants seek dimensional variance relief from §27-402.1.JJ)1)(a) and §27-402.1.JJ(6) to operate the kennel within 200 feet from an existing dwelling on an adjacent lot (145 feet provided) and on less than 1.5 acres (1.2 acres provided).
APPEAL NO. 22-0178 – 750 EAST LEXINGTON STREET
Peter and Sharon Furbur appeal the interpretation of the zoning officer for “second front yard” in regards to the construction of a 5-foot privacy style fence. In the alternative, applicants request dimensional variance relief from §27-403.4.E(3)(a) to construct the fence as proposed (only 4-foot, picket style fence permitted in second front yard).
