The Township participates in single-stream recycling. Republic Services utilizes a dedicated truck for the collection of all recyclables. It is a standard garbage truck with a placard on either side indicating “RECYCLING”. With single stream recycling, the hauler has the ability to commingle all recyclables, taking a greater quantity in a larger truck, thus making fewer trips to the recycling facility.
ALL Recyclables (paper and containers) can be mixed together in one container which makes it easier to recycle and less expensive to collect. Put all your recyclables in your recycling bin or in another open topped container marked “RECYCLING”.
