INVITATION TO BID
TOWNSHIP OF SALISBURY
LEHIGH COUNTY, PA
The Township of Salisbury will receive sealed bids for the following projects: Contract “A” – Replacement of approximately 3,000 linear feet of 8” ductile iron pipe water main and appurtenances along Potomac Street between E. Wayne Avenue and E. Susquehanna Street and; Contract ”B” Replacement of approximately 600 linear feet of 12” and 15” P.V.C. pipe sewer main along the Trout Creek Interceptor. Sealed bids will be received until 2:30 p.m. (prevailing time) on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the office of the Township Manager, Township of Salisbury Municipal Building, 2900 S. Pike Avenue, Allentown, PA 18103, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. All proposals should be sealed, marked and addressed as follows:

CONTRACT “B” TROUT CREEK INTERCEPTOR SEWER
Mailed Bids must be placed in a separate carrier envelope noted “BID ENCLOSED”. All mailed bids must be received at the Township before or on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 by 2:30 PM (prevailing time).
Copies of the Drawings, Specifications and Bid Forms may be examined and obtained at Keystone Consulting Engineers, Inc., 6235 Hamilton Boulevard, Wescosville, PA 18106, upon request and non-refundable deposit of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per set.
Each bid must be submitted in triplicate and accompanied by Bid Security made payable to the Township of Salisbury in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 5.01 of the General Conditions. The successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount equal to the Contract Price and meeting the requirements of Paragraph 5.01 of the General Conditions.
The project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
The Township of Salisbury reserves the right to waive any informality in, and to reject, any or all bids or to award Contract “A” separately, or both Contracts “A” and “B” combined, whichever is in the best interest of the Township. No bid will be accepted if obtained from a source other than the issuing office noted above.
